A Year In Retrospect

Days before my first post all I knew was I wanted to do something important, with Native people, and have as much fun as humaly possible. That is the birth of 'Premiere Modern Native American Entertainment'. And it had been on my mind for awhile that Indian Country didnt have a media enviornment for our entertainers.

My first relevent post was of Litefoot and his video shoot for "Im'ma Problem". I had spent at least two months compiling different information from various visits and other research. A few months later I took up doing interviews for The Hoop radio Travel and entertainment being synonymous, I took my first plane ride and 'business' trip to the 11th Annual Native American Music Awards. A blur of countless emails, phone calls, research, family, dinner, laundry, school. It is absolutely a labor of love. Every minute well spent. Anything to provide the people a venue that was long overdue. All I knew was I was about to create and invent the marketplace for one on one original content that was exclusive to Native entertainment.

And aside from live bloopers and the few missed connections (more on that later) I’m content. I embrace the new year. My dreams for the future lie in the hope of day after day, providing an media experience based on Native entertainment. For you. For the people. For the world.

RHCP Chad Smith Playing Rockstar Solos iPhone APP By Stevie Salas

Stevie Salas - Guitar God, who has played with legends like Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart and George Clinton has an APP on iTunes that allows you to sound just like him!! Which is great! Cause if you ever heard him play – UGH! MAGIC!! Seriously, the APP is his sound while you control the game. Its also an awesome learning tool. Take the riff you learn from Rockstar Solos and apply it your own guitar.

AND IN OTHER STEVIE SALAS NEWS - He’s currently on tour in Europe with the I.M.F’s (International Mother F*ckers). And his show Arbor Live is filming for Season 2.

Check out this video of Red Hot Chili Peppers Chad Smith playing Rockstar Solos with Stevie Salas on iPhone.

This Is Just A Warm-Up

All this week until March 7 commemorative posts will be added for the 1 year anniversary of 'Premiere Modern Native American Entertainment'.

First and foremost, Thank you Jesus for allowing me the extraordinary experience of serving my people in this unprecedented manner. All the glory to you. All compliments go to you. In the Lords name I pray, Amen.

My most heartfelt and deepest gratitude to all the Native talent who accepted my invitation for conversations. I’ve begun to think of these convo’s as oral history. Something for the world to reflect on when were long gone. Another something left behind that says ‘Native people were here. They sang, danced and entertained the world with a rich beautiful culture’.

Saginaw Grant had a lot of wisdon to share reminiscent of that. It was like talking to a familial elder. All I could do was sit and listen.
