His career spans over 20 years and he’s starred in some of Indian Country’s biggest and most popular hit movies like Smoke Signals, Flags Of Our Fathers and Windtalkers.

NYE Countdown with Lady Gaga in Miami



Lady Gaga performed to a sold out James L Knight Center in Miami, FL this New Years Eve.

So Happy I Could Die and it’s alright.

Semi Precious Weapons opened the show. I like those boys. They put on a great little show.

Perez Hilton ran up the aisle to the control booth. His prescence quickly forgotten as soon as the Lady Gaga showed up in her lightbulb vest and fishnets.

The Lady Gaga is magic. Forget large stages and theatrical productions. She doesnt need it.

Right before her piano interlude Gagalita called a person in the audience and invited them back to the Fontainebleau for the poolside party.

Second to the last song was Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say). Very touching and heart warming. I didnt think it could get any better until... she said 'Were going to celebrate New Year's early. Count back from 10 to get this last song. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!! “Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, Caught in a bad romance, Ra Ra-ah-ah-ah, Roma Roma-ma”

Goin Native: The Indian Comedy Slam


I have no idea what time I got home last night but I was extremely overjoyed to find the ‘Goin Native’ already on my Showtime OnDemand with Comcast.

Host Charlie Hill was accompanied by Marc Yaffee, Jim Ruel, Vaughn Eagle Bear and JR Redwater, Howie Miller and Larry Omaha in this celebration of native humor.

Yes, native humor. Frybread, social causes and lots of other stuff. You will just have to see this one for yourself.

A Conversation with Charlie Hill and myself took place on November 18th, 2009. He goes into more detail about his career and other legendary American Indian icons.

He’s also music director of American Idol’s Chris Daughtry, Jordan Sparks, David Cook , Allison Iraheta, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. The host and executive producer of a show called ‘Arbor Live’ in Canada. He also works with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian on contemporary music programming. He also produces and develops other music artist’s.
